Mary - Office Manager
Mary Schrupp began her career in 1975 by attending Meramec Community College to study dental assisting. Dr. Ron Schoolman (and his wife Marilyn) were teaching in the dental assisting program at the time. Immediately after graduation, Mary began assisting Dr. Schoolman—now going on thirty-five years, and eighteen years with Dr. Rodney Lofton! After some years, Mary began working at the front desk and, before long, rose to the position of office manager. As manager, Mary wears many hats. She loves working with people and, over the years, she has accumulated wide and deep knowledge regarding dentistry, from treatment plans and insurance for patients to ensuring that the office has everything needed to keep things running smoothly.
Mary has been married to her husband, Randy, for the past five years. From a previous marriage she has one daughter, Shannon, twenty-nine, who is also recently and happily married. Mary has been fortunate to live right down the street from the office (Location, location, location!) for the past twenty-three years, and she loves being in such close proximity to handle anything that might arise. She continues to feel blessed working with such great people— dentists, staff, and patients.
